Those who know Richard and Mary know that they tease each other endlessly about the tail bone or coccyx, called the “little bone of happiness/el huesito de alegria” in Cuba. Though they’ve had similar training and their teaching styles are complementary, their ongoing friendly contention is over the bone’s proper movements in an asana practice. Which way and how does it move? Surprisingly, even a small adjustment of this bone can have a profound effect on our asana practice in particular and overall posture and movements in general. One way or the other, Mary or Richard, whoever you choose, we think you’ll be happy you took this workshop. Open to all levels of students.
